From Passion to Profession
For years, photography was my hobby—something I did purely out of love. I photographed friends and family’s special life events, never realizing that my true calling was right in front of me. Instead, I pursued a completely different path in school, a master of Science in therapy. But no matter where life took me, I always came back to photography. The way a single image could hold so much emotion, the ability to freeze time and tell a story—it was something I couldn’t ignore.
It was my honeymoon trip to Greece that changed everything. My husband and I hired a wedding photographer to capture our time there, and as we wandered through sun-soaked streets and breathtaking landscapes, I watched her work with such passion and artistry. We connected instantly from our shared love of photography, and as she shared her own journey with me, something clicked.
She became my first mentor, encouraging me to follow the passion that had been in my heart all along. That experience gave me the confidence to take the leap, to turn what I had always loved into something more. I came back to the States, went part time at my therapy job immediately. From that moment on, I knew this was what I was meant to do—document love stories with the same beauty, emotion, and authenticity that first inspired me. Bybeilyphoto was born in the Summer of 2023.

My own love story
Before I ever became a wedding photographer, I lived my own love story—the kind that grows and evolves over time, shaping who you are in the most beautiful ways. My husband and I met as high school sweethearts and started dating in 2009. We were young, full of dreams, and had no idea just how much life we would experience together. Five years ago, we said “I do,” but our story has been so much more than just one day. We’ve grown together, supported each other through every season of life, and built a love that feels even stronger with time. That journey—full of laughter, challenges, and endless love—has shaped the way I see and capture weddings. I know firsthand that a wedding is just the beginning of something truly incredible.
Not long after our own wedding, my husband made a simple Facebook post that left me speechless. He wrote that our wedding day was “ the happiest day of his life.” Those words stayed with me. A wedding day it’s not just a beautiful event or a big celebration. It’s a day that becomes part of your forever and years later still makes your heart swell with love and gratitude. Being entrusted with capturing those moments that make your wedding day the day you’ll look back on as the happiest of your LIFE is something I will never take for granted.
